We had a good turn out this month, a total of 10 people.  It was nice to see so many of you all.  Hopefully a good evening was had by all.  As there were so many of us we actually had a round of introductions, both by IRC nick and by name.

As usual there fair amount of general chat and banter, but there were a few specific topics discussed.  There was a fair bit of talk about RFID tags/tikitags/card readers and the potential uses of such things. http://www.touchatag.com/

We talked quite a bit about hardware mainly about the minaturisation of things such as USB keys and the amount of storage and what you can do with them. http://is.gd/m2Lr Also a few of us (myself included) were interested to learn about wireless CF/SD cards which can be used to let you post pictures straight to flickr et al from your camera. http://www.eye.fi/

There were also some interesting talks about ID theft, share options and stock trading and Perldog answered plenty of questions about IMDB for those who were interested.

I may have missed something, so if I have please let me know.  Also if you are able to hire/obtain a room in or near to the middle of Cardiff, please let me know.  Or know of someone I can contact that'd be great.  If anyone is interested in helping out with talks, please let me know.
