The Carmarthen meeting was held in Wetherspoons Carmarthen with six people attending. Discussions ranged around various topics including Android tablets, the museum of computing at Bletchley Park, laptops suitable for travel and demonstration purposes and the upcoming talk in swansea on the 17th April by Bjarne Stroustrup the creator of C++ - http://www.swansea.ac.uk/compsci/distinguishedlectures/bjarnestroustrup/

I have spent a couple of hours weeding out all the spambots that have registered here, about 3000 entries, so if you try and log in but can't please register again! I didn't mean to delete real people ;-) There doesn't seem to be a way to vet new users in mambo; so has anyone got any suggestions for a better framework for this website? |

The next Tech Talks will be at Swansea Quaker Meeting House on Sunday 4th of December 2011 starting at 1800 and finishing by 2100. There will be a charge, I'm afraid, £2 if you're employed and £1 concessions. The confirmed talks are: - Introduction to computer forensics by Sean

After some discussion on IRC and the mailing list is has been decided to try the City Arms as a venue for a while. The Venues section of the website has been updated to reflect this. The next Cardiff meeting is on the 2nd of November.
